Sex, Art and Videotape

Work Emily Ayres, Fran Brook, Catrin Davies, Leah Dermody, Tom Esam, Mark Fowler, Charlotte Humphreys, Eva Masterman, George Marsh, Riva Pearce, Lewis Wright.
Curator:  Eva Masterman

This exhibition includes the work of twelve young artists, with work ranging from sculpture to photography and many more.  The ground floor room allows you to walk freely amongst the work, talking to artists and interacting with the work, itself.  With topics dealing with a wide variety of subjects, you will go through the whole range of human emotions.  Where, in one piece, you will be encouraged to go back to your childhood, in another you will be faced with deconstruction and illusion.  The exhibition aims to give as much variety as possible, whether that be in the mediums used, or the subjects tackled, to show the diverse work and thinking of the young, contemporary artists of today.
The private view, on Friday February 2nd 2007, will be a lively occasion with music and a cheap bar, and we hope you can spare the time to come and meet the artists, and join with us in enjoying ‘sex, art and videotape’.
